Petcover was thrilled to sponsor the South Canterbury Dog Training Club (SCDTC) Championship Jumpers Event held at Gleniti Park, Gleniti Road, Timaru on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November.
Between the record number of entries and the weather being cooperative the event was a great success and delight to attend, especially with the number of spectacular runs!
Overall, the event had 961 entries, made up of 97 people plus their various family and friends that came along to support them, as well as a number of extra club helpers.
They competed in 3 grade groups:
They each had 6 classes and within those classes there were splits 2 ways – making a total of 38 classes.
The dogs jump different heights depending on their wither height, but often compete against dogs from different height groups than their own.
We are delighted to have been a part of this event and can’t wait to see more!
