Petcover attended Helping Paws Adoption Days

The Petcover team attended two Helping Paws Adoption days the first on the 26th of August in Auckland Albany and the second on the 18th of September in Auckland Howick. 

Our team attended these events in an effort to provide more information about pet insurance to those adopting kittens and ensuring they receive the appropriate coverage for their new feline companions. In particular, promoting Petcover’s free 4-week introductory plan, which covers accidents, illnesses, and injuries. 

On the 26th of August the Petcover team attended their first Helping Paws Adoption Day, it was a smaller event with only 20 kittens to be adopted into the fur-ever homes, as opposed to their usual 40-50 kittens.  Our stall at the event was placed in a prime location by the entrance to the event, this led to many people speaking to our staff obtaining useful pet insurance knowledge or even insurance for their new kitten.  

The Howick show was on the 18th of September 2023, most kittens up for adoption were aged between 2-9 months, which is fortunate as most prospecting adoptive parents were looking for a kitten! Our staff at the event had a successful day helping pet parents and insuring kittens so everyone can go home happy and stress free with their new families.  

Our team had a great time at both events talking to pet owners, rescue staff, event organisers and enjoyed getting close and pur-sonal with some of the cats too.

The next event Petcover is attending takes place on the 28th of October in Albany Auckland. Adoption prices typically start at $150 for adults and $250 for kittens, all cats and kittens have had their first vaccination, been desexed, microchipped, plus as new feline parents you will receive an adoption pack containing kitten food and Petcover’s 4-week free introductory cover.
