Petcover Joins Woodhill Sands’ Team of Sponsors

Petcover New Zealand is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre. Located on the rural fringe of New Zealand’s largest city, Woodhill Sands is the home of equestrian sports and the primary competition and training facility in Rodney, as well as serving the greater Auckland region, Northland, and Waikato.

The Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre is the most utilised competition and training facility in New Zealand, due to being the only venue that features all-weather surfaces. This allows the facility to host events and training activities across a full 12 months, bringing more competitors and their supporters into the area from across New Zealand.

The Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre was purchased by The Woodhill Sands Trust in October 2017, to ensure that the equestrian community has continued access to Woodhill Sands, both today and in the future.

Trust Manager of The Woodhill Sands Trust, Jenette Bell, shared her enthusiasm for Petcover joining the centre’s team of sponsors, “Petcover’s support will assist The Trust in working towards its aspirations for Woodhill Sands to become the premium equestrian competition and training facility in New Zealand.

“There is a strong interest in and enthusiasm for horses and horse sports in Auckland, as well as a desire to develop the sport for future fans and sponsors.”

Petcover’s sponsorship of Woodhill Sands works towards supporting the next generation of horse riders through youth training and grassroots events, while also enabling a presence across different disciplines at a national championship level, including Show Jumping, Show Hunter, Dressage, Eventing and Riding Club events.
