Bearded Dragons eat both plants and animals so their diet should incorporate a range of fresh fruits,
vegetables, leafy greens, proteins and fresh water to remain happy and healthy. We take a look at some different foods bearded dragons can eat.
• Bugs and Insects
• Earthworms
• Silkworms
• Crickets
• Cockroaches
• Mealworms
Note: Some insects such as fireflies are very toxic to bearded dragons and shouldn’t be offered to
them.
• Vegetables
• Carrots
• Green Beans
• Sweet Potato
• Broccoli (Occasionally)
• Zucchini (Occasionally)
• Fruits
• Mango
• Papaya
• Peeled Apples (Occasionally)
• Bananas (Occasionally)
• Strawberries (Occasionally)
• Leafy Greens
• Endive
• Watercress
• Mustard Greens
• Bok Choy (Occasionally)
• Kale (Occasionally)
• Parsley (Occasionally)
Note: Never feed your bearded dragon these as they are very harmful.
• Avocados
• Rhubarb
• Lettuce
• Citrus Fruits
• Beets tops and spinach
