The Royal Hobart Show took place from October 24th to 26th at the scenic Regatta Grounds in Hobart, and we were thrilled to be a proud sponsor of both the cat and dog shows. This was our first time attending the Royal Hobart Show, and we were grateful for the ongoing support from our partner, Tasmanian Feline Association. It’s always a pleasure catching up with the committee.
The cat show, held at The Goods Shed on October 24th, featured five exciting rings showcasing a variety of beautiful cats, from long-haired breeds to charming domestic cats and playful kittens. The atmosphere was vibrant, with passionate breeders and cat lovers coming together to celebrate these magnificent animals.
The winners of the cat show included:

The dog show, taking place over three days from October 24th to 26th, was equally thrilling. With a total of 403 entries across seven groups, the event drew in a considerable crowd, despite the unpredictable weather.
Here are some of the standout winners from the dog show:
Day 1 (Thursday):
Day 2 (Friday):
Day 3 (Saturday):
Additionally, we were excited to award a Petcover Hamper to Carol, the proud owner of Golden Retrievers!
Throughout the event, our Petcover team had the pleasure of engaging with breeders, existing customers, and potential new partners about our Breeder Program and our free introductory cover for litters for six weeks. It was wonderful to connect with so many passionate individuals in the pet community.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Royal Hobart Show and the Royal Agricultural Society of Hobart for hosting us. We were honoured to be involved and proud to support both the cat and dog shows.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants! We look forward to seeing many of you at the Combined All Breeds Dog Show in New Norfolk, Tasmania, on October 27th.
